Durn them stern museum web docents I can't seem to link directly to the awesomeness, but if you click the 2nd thumbnail over on the bottom, you will see that Mayans were a carefree lot who liked to blow bubbles into their chocolate drinks just like me as a wee tot. The description to the side is not as aweome as the one at museum where it basically said they would stick their whole face into the big opening on top to enjoy the froth. Now I don't know how they know that for sure. Suppose the whole thing was just used as a much more sedate sort of tea pot?
I don't think I could ever find full success as a historian simply because I'm not comfortable throwing theories out there with full confidence when I wasn't *there*. I would have the most wobbly theories that went like "well maybe...but I'm just guessing and I could always be wrong..." I like reading other people's theories though. And yes I know they go on more than just looking and guessing. But still.
